Hey just wanted to let you know I am throwing a doubles tournament this weekend at blue ribbon pines. There is a $40 a person entry that includes a chance to win a new car, discraft limited edition disc, towel, t shirt, golf, food and prizes. Trying to get the last minute word out as good as I can.
There are three divisions and some awesome BBQ that will follow.
Registration is already over 3/4 full so if you are interested please do sign up at www.blueribbonpines.net
Hope to see you out there
And people notice and appreciate your efforts.

Hey Todd, I just found the papers. It's a 3 year commitment, you make the
request with the city Planner or Park Board, there are some forms you will be
asked to sign pertaining to liability and responsibility, then simply follow
through on the schedule set forth for regular cleaning and park clean up days.
They should provide you with trash bags and some basic equipment if requested
and will schedule the pick up of the full bags. They'll give you a nice sign at
the front of the park just like the adopt a road folks do. I'll get the one up
at Red Oak this spring. Been lazy. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that information Steve.
I admire the role you are playing in being the main park liaison for all Red Oak park users on behalf of the Burnsville Park & Rec Department. You, John Solberg, and Bill Ashton have set great examples about taking ownership of the parks you care about.
Keep up the GREAT work!!!
Todd
