Mr. George that means an awful lot coming from you. You know you started this whole deal. I looked at stuff you had done and it gives guys like my hope we can try to pull it off. Just thank you so much for everything you have done over the years and setting the standard to follow. Also thanks man for continuing to be such an encouragement and presence. I respect the heck out of you man and am grateful I got to bend your ear hear and there.
I couldn't agree anymore that we can learn from this and have that camera/camcorder ready for whenever discing with matt! Speaking of which, maybe next time I'm out at kaposia with matt and jake and aaron, you could join us! It's always a fun time, matt is cool shit, jake is always fun, and aaron is way chill! Well catch ya on the flipside budd! Laters
Thats actually a pretty good idea... right now ive only gotten as far as having it as my background on my phone. But im definitely going to look into framing that. Might have to get matt smith one too since he's in it!
I know Bob Prenot is on our SMDGA website and I think he was at the Mider Cup. I can't say I remember him from the 80's though.
Mostly people I mentioned before and guys like Joe Fiedt, Dave Bogenhagen, Lightning Lyle, Chris Ensted. Those are some others I haven't seen in 15-16 years.
I'm still in advertising working at the local newspaper in town. Thinking about getting out of this business though. Getting too old for Ad Deadline stress anymore.
It's been quite some time. I've been holed up in my hometown of Pipestone, MN for the last 15 years. Better place to raise kids and all that jazz. Finally got a course here 3 years ago. Nobody here can beat me which kinda makes me feel good. I miss those days of playing the old Kaposia in my lunch hour when I worked near the St. Paul stockyards.
