Hey just wanted to let you know I am throwing a doubles tournament this weekend at blue ribbon pines. There is a $40 a person entry that includes a chance to win a new car, discraft limited edition disc, towel, t shirt, golf, food and prizes. Trying to get the last minute word out as good as I can.
There are three divisions and some awesome BBQ that will follow.
Registration is already over 3/4 full so if you are interested please do sign up at www.blueribbonpines.net
Geof, Thanks for posting the pictures. I remember not ever playing that hole well. It seemed it was a killer for me. I don't think I ever birdied it.
The summer before last I played Sunday league at Lakewood Hills near my house. It sure was nice to get out and throw a little. I'm not nearly as capable as I was before, just getting old these days I guess. Got to play a few rounds with Chuck.

Hey Geof, That is a picture taken in Osceola Wisconsin. The statue and the town were named after a famous Seminole Indian Chief. He was very successful in battle with the American government until his capture in 1837 He died in prison in South Carolina in 1838
Hey nice picture. That's Darrin and I cutting the fairway for the old 11th hole going up the hill.

Is that a Cherokee Indian on yer profile pic? Cuz it reminds me of a certain hole at Kaposia named Cherokee:
