About Me:
I began playing disc golf in 1983 after getting out of the US Army. My friends and I all enjoyed playing catch with Frisbees throughout high school (Armstrong Class of 81) and when I returned from the military they were all playing recreational rounds of golf at Northwoods and Acorn. I was immediately hooked, and although I knew nothing of disc selection and couldn't putt, I got pretty good, at least relative to my friends. I stopped playing for nearly 20 years primarily due to my career, but picked it back up in 2005 the spring after my son was born. I joind the MFA the following year and have been completely hooked ever since. Best round rating of 989 at Kaposia Sundog in 2008.

Thanks Chris for that MFA EB report,

I think the MFA will always be primarily a disc golf club. The annual Overall events in MN will help us put some attention on some of the other disc sports that were more prominent when the MFA was founded. I do hope that we can find volunteers to set up a DDC court at the MN Majestic and at other disc golf events... so that disc golfers have a chance to see what it's all about.
