Permalink Reply by Jake Schramm on June 21, 2010 at 10:38am I asked about player packs, and they said it would take away from the payouts. I asked a few of the intermediate players if they were pdga members, and about half were not. So we paid a $40 entry fee. I took 1st in intermediate, and won $55 store credit to FF. Second took $40, more than likely just getting his money back. You do the math, 9 int players @ $30 per person = $270. Payouts were $55, 40, 30 , 20, which totals $145. That means they made $125 on just the intermediate division, and $40 more when you add the 4 people that had to pay the $10 non-pdga member fee. The only thing worth while was the plaque i got.

Permalink Reply by Jake Schramm on June 23, 2010 at 9:34am Thanks jake for helping break it down, it seems more resonable now. But I do know talking with the guy who got second place that he was not happy only getting his money back, and said he was discouraged from playing another tounament for a while.
