Just wondering if you can bring a person to play with for doubles or do they put you on a team. It says random doubles but I was wondering if you can pick your team.  If anyone knows that would be great...

Just pick a person to be your doubles partner.

Random doubles, everyone throws a mini in a bag then drawing is random.
great, thanks!
It should be renamed because it's a BYOP type of doubles event.

It's important to make sure you are a MFA member on the day that you compete so that you're able to earn Minnesota Doubles Series (MDS) points. The points will add up no matter how many doubles partners you have. Both Pro and Am competitors who place high enough in the various divisions will earn CASH at the end-of-the-year awards ceremony held in the Fall of each year.

Tom Marcus is the MDS Committee Chairperson and will be in charge of MDS events. That doesn't mean he will be the TD of all of them but he will know who is if he isn't.

It is not a "bring your own partner event", you do not need to be a MFA member. Acorn RANDOM doubles happens every Tuesday at 3:15.

Wed at 3:15...who the heck can make that! I live right on Rice street but I have that damn work thing that gets in the way... Good luck everyone!
Luckily I teach Phy Ed so I have spring break that week but otherwise there would be no way, also the slacker league I always thought was funny, wednesday at 11am right when the majority work!
yeah tell me about it, appropriatly named "slacker" league...guess i could start a "sucker league" for us suckers who work normal hours...I guess in just jealous, enjoy that spring break! and summers off, Damn disc golfers dream!
PE teaching is the best job ever, its the first summer I'm had the job so I will definitely be playing more disc golf than ever before! Too bad I didn't have this job when I wasn't married!
Thanks Mike for correcting me. I confused Acorn Doubles with the Sunday, May 9, Acorn MDS event. Sorry about that.
