2011 MFA Floater Newsletter

The 2011 Edition of the Floater is now available for review.  Thanks to Richard Rasch for serving as editor and seeing that our tradition of the Floater continues for yet another year!

2011 MFA GRANT PROGRAM

The MFA is pleased to announce that we will again be awarding Course Development grants for 2011. In total, up to eight grants worth $250 will be awarded. For more information click HERE

2011 MIDER CUP 

For the first time in a few years, every zone showed up with a full roster to the Mider Cup. After lunch the North had a very small lead over the East. Once the day was finished the North was victorious for the first time in 6 years! Taking home the Mider Cup by a 12 point landslide, the team was lead by Jake Brown (North Zone Coordinator) and with 17 of his other teammates (Travis Mick, Kyle Pinkman, Reid Jenson, Jason Krebsbach, Tim Schreder, Katie Pinkman, Chris Hall, Ryan Angell, Luke Kemna, Tim Mackey, Alan Hansen Begg, Rick Rentz, Ray Oberly Sr, Adam Peterka, Daniel Larva, Stephen Deason, and Ray Oberly Jr.), they made it happen. The real story of the day was the West. Being roughly 20 points back from the East at lunch, they powered back to within 1 point to finish 3rd. Good job to everyone that showed up and looking forward to another great event next year… In the North!
